Drops are pleased to announce that Continental have agreed to extend their deal to remain as the team’s Official Tyre Partner for 2017.
The rubber, supplied by Cambrian Tyres, has kept Drops at the very top of their game during the course of the 2016 season and the team are delighted that the relationship will continue.
"We're delighted to continue our relationship with Cambrian tyres. We truly believe that Continental tyres are the best on the market and it's extremely important for the riders to trust the rubber that we're using.” Tom Varney, Team Director commented.
The Drops squad were frequently riding technical races in challenging weather conditions last season and knowing they had Continental rubber to rely on meant they could take plenty of confidence into the difficult corners.
With an ever-increasing profile, the team will be looking to boost sales of Continental bike tyres in the UK by showing their premium quality and performance during this year’s race calendar.
"We’re delighted to announce an extension of our partnership with Drops. Women’s participation in cycling and cycle racing is important for both the industry and the sport of cycling and has huge growth potential. Drops are leading the way with their approach and attitude in inspiring women to get involved.” commented Shelley Childs, Brand Manager, Cambrian Tyres.
Drops will be utilising both 22mm & 25mm ProLtd Tubulars in addition to GP4000 clincher tyres. To find out more about the impressive range of Continental cycle tyres, visit www.conti-tyres.co.uk
