Drops Cycling Team are delighted to announce that Eva Buurman is their first International rider signing for the 2018 team.
The young Dutch rider will join Drops after two seasons with the Parkhotel Valkenburg Destil team. The 22-year-old showed her talent this year with ten UCI top tens including a podium spot at Trophee Maarten Wynants.
A former Ice Skater, Eva switched her efforts into road cycling with great success. The future is bright for this Dutch talent and the team are excited to help her reach the next step.
Eva spoke about joining Drops “I am really happy to join the Drops family, they have shown great confidence in me, which I is important as I prepare to make the next step in my development as a bike rider.
Bob believes in me as a potential future contender for Amstel Gold, which is my dream race. I am excited to be making my next step in their supportive and confidence inspiring environment.”

Eva will join her new teammates in December at the team’s first training camp of the winter.
